2013 National Invitation Tournament Bracket & Tickets Info

College basketball predictions are underway as the brackets have been revealed!  The 2013 National Invitation Tournament bracket has been revealed on the same day that 68 teams were invited to the Big Dance.  The NIT may not quite have the luster of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but still gives hope to some teams that they can begin building for next season.  Many big name schools that didn't get a ticket to the dance will compete in this year's edition of the NIT 2013.

This year's NIT kicks off with the first round on March 19th and 20th, with the higher seeded teams usually hosting the first two rounds of games.  There's a total of 28 teams competing, for the ultimate prize of the NIT Championship, with the semifinals scheduled for April 2nd, and the championship game scheduled for April 4, 2013 at Madison Square Garden.

NIT Bracket Schedule for 2013:

First Round March 19th & 20th

Second Round March 21 through 25

Quarterfinals March 26 & 27

Semifinals April 2

Championship April 4

2014
First, Second  and Quarterfinal Rounds: March 18-26 – Campus Sites
Semifinals and Final: April 1 and 3 – Madison Square Garden, New York City

2015
First, Second  and Quarterfinal Rounds: March 17-25 – Campus Sites
Semifinals and Final: March 31 and April 2 – Madison Square Garden, New York City

In terms of tickets availability, that usually comes with each school's selection, as tickets are released to the general public.  However, the NCAA.com website has tickets on sale for the final rounds of the National Invitation Tournament in 2013, as well as some of the NCAA Tournament.  Check out NCAA.com here for more info!
