2013 Preakness Stakes Live Online & TV Viewing Plus Tickets Info

The 2013 Preakness Stakes is coming live to TV and the internet on Saturday, May 18, with one horse continuing to chase history.  Orb is looking to win the second leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Horse Racing, after winning the Kentucky Derby several weeks ago.  Orb will battle eight other contenders in the field on what should be a very warm day in Baltimore, Maryland.  The Preakness Stakes will be live streaming, live on TV, and live in person for anyone lucky enough to have tickets.

The WWE WrestleMania 29 live Pay-Per-View arrives online and on television this coming Sunday, with three huge main event quality matches, and several other exciting contests joining those.  As of our latest report, there's still tickets available for this live event as well.  Read on for more information on how watch WrestleMania 29 live online, on TV, at a bar/restaurant, or in person!

It all starts with a pre-show special ahead of the main Pay-Per-View.  The WrestleMania 29 live stream pre-show will be shown online starting at 6 p.m. EST Sunday night.  This show is free on the internet via YouTube, Facebook and the WWE's website.  It will feature at least one match, with The Miz challenging Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship.

WrestleMania 29 will be held live at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, with an official start time of 6:30 p.m. EDT.  As of this report, we noticed over 600 tickets available for sale via ticket seller Stub Hub.  Prices on these range from $117 all the way up through $2500, depending on how close to the ring they are.  There were four tickets available right near the ringside area as of this report, with a price tag of $2850 each.

Our latest check of tickets at StubHub on Friday night gave way to over 100 tickets left, starting at $78 each.  If you're going to be in the Montreal area, that's not a bad deal to witness some live mixed martial arts.  Tickets we found were for the upper areas of the arena.  Tickets near the octagon can get rather pricey, although we did see some available for $400-$625 each, for those interested in getting the closer perspective.  See full results here at StubHub.

WWE Champion The Rock vs. CM Punk

The Rock is set to defend the WWE championship against former longtime champion CM Punk. If Rock is disqualified or counted out in the match, Punk automatically wins the title.  This was a stipulation added by Paul Heyman on this past week's Raw.  With the title on the line here, the winner of this match will head to WrestleMania 29 as the champion, with John Cena already having won the Royal Rumble, as their challenger!

John Cena, Sheamus, & Ryback vs. The Shield

WWE fans have seen the attacks over the weeks and months from The Shield.  The self-imposed WWE justice watch group consists of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. They have been orchestrating sneak attacks during many previous matches at WWE TV shows or PPV's.  Among their victims attacked have been Ryback, Sheamus and John Cena.  Due to all of the attacks on them over the weeks, Cena's team really wants to beat The Shield in order to stop their madness in the WWE rings.   However, The Shield wants to continue bringing their brand of "justice" to the WWE Universe and to the superstars they feel need to be "judged."

World Heavy Weight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show

The competition between Alberto Del Rio and Big Show has been going on ever since Del Rio defeated Show for the title during a Last Man Standing Match on SmackDown.  They met in a rematch at another Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble 2013.  During this match, Ricardo Rodriguez gave an assist by helping to duct tape Big Show's legs around the bottom ring ropes. Now Big Show and Del Rio meet again over the World Heavy Weight Championship.  The winner of this one will head to WrestleMania 29 as champion!

4. Elimination Chamber Match

One of the main event matches, with a World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania 29 on the line. This match is going to determine number 1 contender of the World Heavy Weight Championship against either Alberto Del Rio or Big Show in the future. Six men will enter the demonic structure: Daniel Bryan, Kane, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Jack Swagger and Mark Henry.  However, only one will be the final man standing and on his way to WrestleMania 29!  The odds favor Mark Henry, but all of these superstars are more than capable of pulling off the win!

It's 2013 NBA All-Star Saturday Night in Houston!  There will be a host of fun All-Star competitions live streaming online or on television for those unable to attend live in person.  That includes one of the main attractions each year, the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, with last year's champion defending his 2012 title.  Also, Tony Parker will look to defend his 2012 Skills Challenge title and a new winner will be crowned as Three-Point Shootout champion!

The Shooting Stars contest usually involves teams of former and current NBA stars along with a WNBA star.  They take shots one-by-one from different locations around the court, until they've hit all of the shots.  The teams compete for the best time overall.

In the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, some of the NBA's best guards will show their skills on an obstacle course.  They'll dribble, pass and shoot their way through various stations and attempt to score the best overall time.  Among this year's competitors are defending 2012 champ Tony Parker of the Spurs, Damian Lillard of the Blazers, Jeremy Lin of the Rockets, Brandon Knight of the Pistons, Jeff Teague of the Hawks, and Jrue Holiday of the Sixers.

Then there's the Three-Point contest.  Made famous by guys like Larry Bird and Craig Hodges, the competition involves a field of six competitors trying to get the best score by shooting from 3 point racks set up around the perimeter.  Best scores in the rounds advance to three-point shootouts for the title!  Competitors include Kyrie Irving of the Cavs, Steve Novak of the Knicks and Stephen Curry of the Warriors.

Finally, nobody wants to miss a Slam Dunk Contest.  Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz defends his 2012 title Saturday night.  Other competitors like Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets, Terrence Ross of the Raptors, or Gerald Green of the Pacers will attempt to take the trophy though.  It should be another exciting showdown with some legendary NBA stars as judges and the fans ultimately deciding the winner!

In terms of tickets for tonight's events, our latest check on StubHub showed there were just under 200 tickets remaining for sale, ranging from $210 each on up.  eBay also has multiple auctions for tonight's All-Star Saturday tickets found at the search here.

2013 NBA Celebrity Game Live Stream Online, TV Info, Roster & Tickets

Sports fans will be able to watch the The 2013 Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on live stream online and TV Friday night.  The annual contest is a fun way to bring in NBA All-Star weekend, with this year's events in Houston, TX.

The live streaming coverage of the celebrity contest will be shown on the WatchESPN sports service online.  WatchESPN is available to many homes across the nation for free, as a courtesy service from internet service providers.  The broadband sports service allows for viewing of events televised on ESPN's various channels, although they may be blacked out in certain regions.

A look at the latest map on the WatchESPN site indicates that a large portion of the Western half of the U.S. will be able to see the game online, while those in states to the  East will only have TV coverage. ESPN will televise the game as well, starting at 7PM EST on Friday night.

The 2013 Sprite NBA All-Star Celebrity game will feature teams captained by Russell Westbrook of the OKC Thunder and James Harden of the All-Star game hosts, the Houston Rockets.  Among the celebs on the rosters will be Olympic gold medal sprinter Usain Bolt, comedian Kevin Hart, rapper Common, WNBA star Maya Moore, singer Ne-Yo, actor Nick Cannon, and former NBA All-Stars Dikembe Mutombo, Clyde Drexler and Sean Elliott.

If you're in the Houston area and are looking to attend the game live in person, you may be in luck.  As of this report we saw there were approximately 33 tickets left for the game, via StubHub.  Prices ranged from $136 a ticket and up for the game at the George R. Brown Convention Center.  There are also many tickets up for sale on eBay in the latest search here.

The Celebrity All-Star game gets started at 7PM EST on Friday evening on ESPN for TV, or WatchESPN for live streaming online feed coverage.

2013 Grammy Awards Live Stream and TV Schedule plus Tickets Info

The 2013 Grammy Awards will be live on Sunday night with both live streaming and TV presentation of the latest annual awards ceremony.  This year's show takes place in Los Angeles and is hosted by rapper/TV celeb LL Cool J.  Among the major nominees are Frank Ocean, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and more.

For those who want to watch the show online, the Grammys website offers live streaming coverage of the red carpet and awards being handed out before the actual TV presentation.  While the TV presentation will not be shown online on any legitimate websites, there will be special access to watch on the internet via the Grammy's site during the show.

For those who want to watch the Grammy Awards on television, CBS will be the TV channel to watch.  The show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. EST and will feature performances from Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean, Miranda Lambert, and many more.  Nominees include many of the artists just mentioned as well as Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nas, and Fun.

While tickets are hard to come by, we did find a "Bronze level" seat available for sale on the auction site eBay.  The ticket was at $780 as of last check, and includes a ticket to the Official Grammys After Party as well.  The auction currently had 23 bids on the site.

Watch New Year's Eve 2013 Ball Drop Live Online!

For those who couldn't travel to NYC and wait in Times Square this year, the New Year's Eve 2013 ball drop can be witnessed live streaming online.  There are several ways to watch the free video feed or webcam coverage online, for anyone who can't get to a TV, or Times Square, in time for the big event.  Keep in mind these won't be like watching TV online, they will be different from the televised specials.

The first way is to check out the official NY Times Square website.  This site will provide a free live streaming webcast video feed, beginning at 6PM EST on Monday night.  The webcast is scheduled to last until 12:15AM EST on the first day of the New Year 2013.

In addition to the webcast, there are also apps available for both the iPhone and Android, for owners of handheld or mobile devices to watch the live stream coverage from NYC.  See below for more details on where to download.

Another site offering a Times Square webcam view is Earthcams.com.  The site presents a live look at the area via a webcam feed, showing just how massive a crowd has assembled in Time Square, NYC.  Once the live feed is capturing the hysteria of the event later on, people watching will be in full swing to see everyone celebrating the passing of 2012, and the coming of 2013.   The site not only boasts several different online views of Times Square, but also the NYE celebrations around the world, from country to country.  Check out more here.

Some may want to simply watch the ball drop on TV instead of online.  For those who prefer the traditional route to see the ball drop on television, there will be the annual specials on ABC, CBS, CNN, MTV, NBC and PBS to ring in the New Year.
